Biblically-Based and
Clinically-Informed Therapy
I know that finding the right therapist can be an intimidating and exhausting process - not every therapist-client relationship works for everyone, so to help you feel confident in working with me, here’s a little about me:
I intentionally try to cultivate a space where growth can occur through an attachment-based and emotionally focused lens. I have an MA in Counseling, an MDiv in Theology, and extensive training in AEDP, EFT, and EMDR.
As a Christian, what I believe influences how I practice, but I see people from all backgrounds and beliefs, and I want to approach therapy in a way that feels comfortable for you. Above all, I hope to create a safe environment for you to grow.
Growing up, I always felt the tension between theology and psychology. They both had valuable insights into overcoming the world's fallenness but, at times, seemed to contradict one another. This tension was so great that it became the motivation to study theology and psychology, where I found the value of the relationship between both fields in healing the human heart and condition. My conviction is that the therapeutic environment should be clinically sound and God-glorifying, and that’s what I try to provide to my clients here!
